A Review Of The 2009 Audi S5

Simply the Best!

Audi has been producing four-door sedans for a very long time. In fact as long as I can remember, Audi's always had four doors - in exception of the TT, and the A4 Cabriolet, but since we'll be discussing coupes, I'll leave them out. I'll leave the R8 out as well, because it's in a different league. So other than that, the A5 and S5 are the only models that Audi offers that money could buy.

Coupe market has been dominated completely by, well, just about everybody! And Audi finally peaked outside and saw a bunch of Mercedes, BMW's, and Porsche's. A lot of them are coupes, so Audi decided to make one as well. And will you just look at it! It looks amazing! And while other coupes look discreet and unnoticeable, this one will even get the attention of the blind! It has charisma and presence. It has the style and the looks, and the performance. It also packs luxury and comfort as well. And if you look at the interior, the story continues. It looks absolutely stunning!

This car is big enough for anybody to sit in it with room to spare! Doesn't matter if your daily diet is triple-doubles with fries and a coke! Or at least it looks that way from the outside.

Although everything is there, I have a slight worry that the power isn't. You'd expect at least 400 horsepower from a 4.2L V8 and a car that like a monster. But it produces only 354 and it's catastrophically thirsty! You'll be doing 14 mpg in the city. So, if you've got one, try not to pay too much attention to the MPG, and maybe focus on how bad ass you look in your spanking S5.

However, it's not as bad as you might think, or at least as I make it sound. Because of the green movement in Europe, all manufacturers are basically forced to cap their cars top speed at 155 mph. So, 354 hp is more than enough to get the S5 around. And when you do 0-60 in 4.9 seconds, you've got yourself quite a car. Rating on this car by different credible sources are constantly getting 10/10 in every area!

Maybe the only problem with this car is I haven't driven it yet. And I wish I could. I wish I had a chance to take a $50,000 piece of magnificence for a joyride. Wait, that was wrong - not a joyride, a test drive.

I've been into cars for a long time now. It started as a little kid when I started drawing cars for fun. My cars, though, did not have guns and fins on them, well, most of them didn't, to say the least. I fo...  View profile

You haven't driven it??? What are you doing "reviewing" it then?

I own an S5 and I wouldn't even post a review of it - everything you need to know has already been written about it.
