A Review of "The Adventures of Thelma the Uncivil Servant" by Jenny Haynes

Get Ready to Laugh Your Head Off

Michelle K. Miller
It's almost a split personality. She's Louise Benedict, the seemingly pleasant civil servant employee by day, trodding off to her mundane job, day after day, trying to remain as professional as possible, while smoking her brains out and keeping her witty demure. However, by night, she is Thelma the Uncivil Servant, a raw, raunchy, foul-mouthed night club comedian who leaves no aspect of her life verbally spinkicked. Being a simple woman never expecting her world to crash down, when she becomes the subject and pawn in government scandal, she doesn't know which way to go. Will she give in or will she tell them which part of her ass they can kiss?

Jenny Haynes is the author of "The Adventures of Thelma the Uncivil Servant." This books is very articulately written, but will make you close to wetting yourself while rolling on the floor laughing. As you read this book, you may think you have what's coming next figured out, but you have no idea. This is one of those books where I uttered the words "What the f***?" a few hundred times. This is a work of great comedy and I recommend it to anyone who needs a belly full of laughs.
