What is in the Box?
When you buy the wireless keyboard, you will get a very stylish box with the keyboard, a printed manual and 2 AA batteries in the package. The price of the keyboard is not very cheap, and the wired version is 20 dollars cheaper and works just as fine.
First use
When first using the keyboard you will need to connect the keyboard to the computer. Meaning that the Bluetooth on the computer will need to recognize the keyboard. I had no problems with connecting my keyboard but others have indicated the troublesome way they had with connecting it. When not using your keyboard for a while, it will power down to save on battery life. This is a nice feature, but it takes a little getting used to. Especially when you do not see anything change on the screen for a second or so. Battery drainage is not as bad as it was when the wireless keyboards first came out. I am using the same batteries now for 5 months and they are still going strong.
For excellent reception keep the keyboard within the 30 feet of the computer and you will be in love with your keyboard in no time at all. There is no wireless keyboard like this with a numeric keypad released by Apple and for now there is no intention to do that. At work I am a windows user and I do use my numeric keypad at a lot. When I'm using this keyboard at home I do miss the numeric keys.
Problems
There are however some problems that can occur when you for instance use boot camp and Microsoft Windows on your machine. The keyboard might in some cases not work or if you get it to work some of the keys might not function at all. Altho keep in mind, that if you use Windows on your Mac that certain keys will not function by default as Windows does not use those particular keys.
Conclusion
For someone who is a complete fan of anything wireless, this is the keyboard to get. However if you are not I would suggest to stick with the old fashioned wired keyboards. They work just as fine and in some cases even better. As you will not have any wireless connection problems to worry about. Another huge plus is that the wired version of this same keyboard comes in 2 versions, one with numeric keypad and a non numeric keypad version.
