I fell in love with Blue Coast Burrito when I was living in Chattanooga, TN. I probably ate at that Blue Coast Burrito around 10 times. This Blue Coast Burrito is just like any other Blue Coast Burrito I have ever been in. The colors are vibrant and if you use your imagination you might feel like you are eating at a little restaurant on the west coast.
Almost everytime I go to Blue Coast I order the Regular Chicken Burrito. You can get rice, beans, and lettuce on it along with other items. Be sure and put sour cream on it. You can make this burrito a combo for $2.00 more. When you make it a combo it comes with chips and drinks. The burritos are amazing but the chips and drink might be my favorite part.
Blue Coast has incredible Fruit Tea. I do not know if there is a better tea out there. Now you are wondering what is so amazing about the chips? I guess there is nothing really special about the chips but rather what you are dipping the chips in. The Pineapple Salsa is so good. It is amazing how something so simple can be so good. I could almost drink the stuff. Also, be sure to put the Pineapple Salsa on your burrito. It will make it about 3x better than it already is.
The total cost of our meal was $17.44. The person I had supper with ordered the exact same thing as me. The Regular Chicken Burrito is $6.00. To make it a combo you have to add $1.99. A burrito, chips, and drink is basically $8.00. The subtotal was $15.96. Tax was $1.48.
Blue Coast Burrito is not a restaurant that is unique to Memphis, TN. If you do not live in the Memphis area you still may have one close to you. I want to challenge you to not get addicted to the Fruit Tea and Pineapple Salsa.
