A Border Collie is a dog that you can really rely on and they never let you down. They are very well behaved dogs. Very well listened dogs. They are the best dog if you own a farm. They are herding animals as well as a good companion.
I live on a farm. We own cows and chickens. Our Border Collie will bark when the cows get into a fight or if one gets out of the fence. They are really smart dogs. If a cow gets out of the fence our Border Collie will lead it back through the fence. If any of our chickens get loose, she will lead every chicken back to the chicken coop.
When the cows get in a fight, she will bark and the cows will stop fighting because they know what she is saying. They are amazing animals and they understand everything you tell them. My Border Collie listens to everything I say and tell her. I do not have to tell her twice to do something. She is like a very well listened kid. She could herd any animal you wanted her to.
Border Collies are known for their herding. They will not stop or rest until all the animals are back in the spot they are suppose to be. They are very good protectors as well. They will let you know if anybody is around that shouldn't be there.
Border Collies are really great with people as well. They love kids and they treat little kids like their own. They would not ever hurt anybody unless it was somebody trying to break into your house but that is with any dog.
Border Collies are very fun loving and weird temperament dogs. They are very communicative. They learn respective ways to show you hat they want or need. Like our Border Collie, she shows you she wants outside when she has to go to the bathroom or just wants to outside. She will go and sit at the door and let you know she wants to go outside.
They are very very smart dogs. I am glad to be the owner of a Border Collie. In my opinion, I would not own another type of dog in my life. It is just so amazing how fast they learn and how well behaved and good mannered these dogs are. It is also amazing how they show you what they want or need. They are very intelligent dogs and if anybody is looking for a well behaved, good mannered, easily trained dog, this is the dog for you. You don't even have to own a farm to own a Border Collie because they adapt to wherever they are no matter what.
I have had my Border Collie for 8 years and have not regretted one single day of having her. She is the best dog I have ever owned and will always own a Border Collie.

Post a CommentVery wonderful article. Well researched upon personal review and experience. I have always heard about the intelligence and loyalty to this breed. Thank you for the verification you have addressed. Very informative. However, I have never had one, I know I have had a Dalmation (miss her so), a German Shepherd I brought from my time in Germany (my favorite breed all because of him), and now share ownership with a Husky and Dobey, and then of course our adopted black cat, Beazel. Thank you for the wonderful article. I always enjoy articles on learning and relating experiences with animals.
