A Review of Butterfield Farms White Chicken & Buffalo Style Sauce

Low in Fat and Delicious

Bridgitte Williams

I like to use high quality canned chicken in some of my homemade recipes. Recently, while shopping for interesting canned chicken, I came across a can of Butterfield Farms White Chicken & Buffalo Style Sauce in the canned meats section of my local favorite Dollar Tree store. The price was right! I decided to purchase this chicken, try it out and write a product review all about my personal experience with it. Here is what I discovered!

I bought one can of Butterfield Farms White Chicken & Buffalo Style Sauce for only one dollar. What a very food budget friendly low price. Each can has over two servings in it. Outstanding. I discovered that this chicken is also low in fat and fairly low in calories. This canned chicken is different. It is white meat chicken chunks packed in a buffalo style sauce. That sounded really good. I could not wait to try this product!

The sauce has aged cayenne peppers, vinegar, paprika, garlic and other spices in it. I bought several cans of this chicken because it was so creative and different. I am so glad that I did. I made a buffalo chicken style casserole with one can. When I opened the can, I knew right away that I would like this product. It has lots of chunks of chicken and also lots of buffalo style sauce. It was a pleasant addition to my casserole and this chicken is delicious. The sauce is not as spicy as I had thought it would be, but that was great with me because I like mildly spicy foods. The vinegar is prominent in this sauce, but I am a vinegar lover, so that was cool with me.

I also made a buffalo style chicken salad with this product and it was yummy. This chicken goes well on a bun. It is wonderful with sides like potato salad and cole slaw. I rate Butterfield Farms White Chicken & Buffalo Style Sauce four stars out of five stars. I will be buying it again. It makes my chicken recipes interesting and it is so flavorful. Really fun to cook and create with. One serving has 70 calories in it. 25 of those calories come from fat. One serving has 2.5 grams of total fat, just 0.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 35 mg's of cholesterol, 460 mg's of sodium, 4 grams of total carbs, 0 grams of dietary fiber, 0 grams of sugars and 8 grams of protein.

I loved trying Butterfield Farms White Chicken & Buffalo Style Sauce and writing this product review about it. It is high in quality and a delight to eat. I can do so many things with this product. Butterfield foods has ready to cook whole chickens, canned chicken, raw chicken wings, wingless fronts, split whole birds and raw chicken by products, just to name a few. Their buffalo style chicken is a winner, in my book. Very tasty!

thanks for the review. i'll have to try it. I found the ham by this brand to be great. I mix it in jambalaya. For the price, it is pretty good quality. A nice surprise. I got another brand of canned ham at the same DT store and did not like it at all.
