A Review of Caesars Pocono Mountain Resort

A Great Romantic Escape for You and Your Loved One

T.K. Moyer
Caesars Pocono Mountain Resort is located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Caesars Pocono Mountain Resort is a one of a kind place that you and your loved one can escape for a weekend or a week. This review will cover quality of service, room quality and cleanliness , quality of food, amenities and entertainment, price and the overall experience.

When first arriving at Caesars Pocono Mountain resort you will realize that you are somewhere unique and different. From the time you arrive at the front desk the staff is kind and courteous. The clerk took plenty of time in explaining the resort. If there is one complaint about the resort, its that things are so spread out that you almost have to take the Love Chariots everywhere you want to go. The Love Chariots are the preferred method of transportation and run 24 hours a day. Love Chariots are available by picking up the phone and letting the front desk know your room number.

Upon arriving at our room at the Caesars Pocono Mountain resort we were greatly impressed with how clean the room was. My wife and I require clean rooms and clean beds. Upon executing a complete inspection of the bed, carpets, sinks, and toilets, my wife deemed the room worthy of occupation. We stayed in one of the Champagne Towers by Cleopatra, which if I am being honest seemed a bit over the top. The fun amenities of the room far outweigh any cheese you may feel or experience. The Champagne Tower rooms feature 7 foot tall Champagne Glasses that double as bath tubs perfect for two, an in suite heart shaped pool, and a warm fireplace. This room at the Caesars Pocono Mountain resort room is one of its finest and most luxurious. One uncomfortable feature of the room is the number of mirrors found in the room. I found the number of mirrors to be very intimidating, but overall the room was fantastic.

After some time wandering the property my wife and I attended dinner at the on site restaurant. We enjoyed dining with other couples who were staying at the Caesars Pocono Mountain resort, but we really enjoyed the opportunity to dine alone. Each night offered a different array of food that was really amazing. Among the food we ordered throughout our stay was steak, grilled and marinated chicken, ribs, and seafood. Lunch and dinner was truly wonderful and one thing we really enjoyed was being able to order room service for breakfast each morning. We really enjoyed being able to have breakfast in bed. One thing my wife really enjoyed was the late night dessert buffet. Ice cream, cake, and all the toppings were in full supply and very tasty.

The amenities and entertainment found at the Caesars Pocono Mountain resort truly are second to none. While the rooms are simply nice enough to stay in for an entire week it is nice to have activities such as ice skating, hiking, putt putt, and archery to pass the time. Entertainment each night ranged from a variety of game shows that guests will partake in, to a showcase of comedy that brings in different entertainers throughout the year.

Rates for the Caesars Pocono Mountain Resort are a bit on the pricey side as they start around $245 per night. Our stay cost us around $1600 for a one week all inclusive stay that included airfare. All in all, my wife and I are looking forward to our next stay at the Caesars Pocono Mountain Resort.

My son and his new bride honeymooned at Caesars Pocono Mountain Resort, staying in the Champagne Tower. The place was so impressive, they actually remember all the details of their room and the resort facilities. :)
