A Review of the Cheesecake Factory in Atlanta

The Awful Truth About One of Atlanta's Popular Restaurants

Nicole A.
Atmosphere
The Cheesecake Factory in Atlanta is a spacious restaurant. Visitors can also eat outside and inside. This is an aspect of The Cheesecake Factory in Atlanta that I enjoyed. There are great plants and a nice view of the city that you can enjoy when eating outside. This restaurant also has multiple levels. It provides visitors with more seating choices. The Cheesecake Factory in Atlanta is not flooded with children either. That is another reason why I liked the atmosphere. It is easier to enjoy your food here without listening to crying babies and toddler climbing over their seats. The interior and exterior of this restaurant are both attractive.

Price
Many people favor the desserts from the Cheesecake factory. As a result, they are willing to pay more for these items. It seems that this restaurant has taken its popularity into account when pricing the food. The menu selections are ridiculously inflated for an establishment of this nature. The Cheesecake Factory is not a specialty eatery where only a dozen people are served. There can be 100 guests at this restaurant at any given time. That places it in the pool with every other chain restaurant that serves the masses. The prices for food and beverages at The Cheesecake Factory should be decreased.

Food
The portions of food are plentiful. While I have always enjoyed this aspect, it is now expected, given the prices at this restaurant. Many of the Cheesecake Factory locations serve good food. Therefore, I usually end up being satisfied due to the fact that their food is appetizing. That is not the case with The Cheesecake Factory in Atlanta. The food here is not prepared well and tastes bad.

It seems as if the food that I ordered was set out on a counter for 15 minutes before I received it. It was dry and dense, making me think that it had been cooked in bulk earlier that day. The accompanying sauce appeared to be oddly thick and greasy. Since I had the same food from other Cheesecake Factory locations, it was easy to recognize that this food was poor. One of the worse parts about that experience is that staff members and customers believe that they are doing a good job.

Service
I did not have to wait to be seated. This was a surprise considering the fact that many Cheesecake factory locations have a long wait time. That was one good aspect of this Atlanta location. Since the food was not that good, one would think that service at The Cheesecake Factory in Atlanta would be better. Unfortunately, the service is just as bad at this restaurant. The food and sever took forever to arrive. In addition, my friend and I had to request utensils. While the food was bad, I must say that the drink that we ordered was very good. However, this item came about 15-20 minutes after it was ordered.

The service that we received at The Cheesecake Factory in Atlanta was tacky. It was sluggish and filled with a bad attitude. Even when I remained cordial, the server behaved like he had a major problem with my table. If The Cheesecake Factory in Atlanta was my first experience with this entire franchise, I would never visit another location again. Since I have been to other Cheesecake Factories in the United States, it is much easier to differentiate one place from another. Unfortunately, other people have not had the same experience. I would not be surprised if The Cheesecake Factory loses some customers as a result.

Verdict
The Cheesecake Factory in Atlanta is not the best place to visit in this city. There are many other restaurants nearby that serve great food. One simple visit to The Cheesecake Factory in Atlanta turned my preferred duration into hours. It not only had to potential to make me ill, this visit interfered with my schedule for that day. In my review of Ohara's in Philadelphia, I recommended that you should only eat there if you are really hungry and have run out of choices. No matter what the choices are in Georgia, The Cheesecake Factory in Atlanta is not worth it. This restaurant takes up too much of their visitor's time and you will end up wishing that you went elsewhere. Needless to say, we did not order dessert!
