I am a big fan of tuna. I love tuna salad, tuna casseroles, tuna fillets and when I came across a pack of Chicken of the Sea Tuna Cups in the canned tuna section of my local favorite grocery store, I was delighted. I decided to purchase them, try them out and write a product review all about my personal experience with them. Here is what I discovered!
One pack of Chicken of the Sea Tuna Cups costs around three dollars. Each pack has two individual tuna cups in it. These are convenient and they are meant to save time. I liked that. These do not have to be refrigerated and that fact is great! They are perfect for school bag lunches and travel snacks. This container contains premium chunk white tuna in water. These do not require draining. This tuna is an excellent source of omega three. This product is also low cal, low in fat and protein rich. I could not wait to taste it!
When I tried these tuna cups, I loved them! They have that great well known chicken of the sea tuna taste. Fresh and flaky. The top opens easily. This item makes a good tuna snack to take anywhere. You can throw a few pieces of bread, a mayo pack and this tuna in a bag lunch and make a delightful tuna sandwich in a jiffy. Even when eaten alone, this tuna container packs energy and fun. I am a tuna lover and I liked this product. I rate it four stars out of five stars. I will be buying it again. It is portable and delicious.
One serving has 80 calories. Only 10 of those calories are from fat. One tuna cup has 1 gram of total fat, 0 grams of saturated fat, fabulous, 0 grams of trans fat, 0 grams of polyunsaturated fat, 0 grams of monounsaturated fat, 35 mg's of cholesterol, 240 mg's of sodium, 0 grams of total carbs, 0 grams of dietary fiber, 0 grams of sugars and 18 grams of protein. Ingredients include chunk white tuna, water, vegetable broth, soy and salt. This is a product of Thailand. It is distributed by Chicken of the Sea international in San Diego, CA. Alrighty, then.
I enjoyed trying Chicken of the Sea Tuna Cups and writing this product review about them. They are delicious, handy and fun to eat. I can throw a container in a bag along with crackers and have a quick on the go travel snack. This snack is diet friendly. There are also many tuna recipes available on the chickenofthesea.com website. Chicken of the Sea tuna is good and it is high in quality. I really liked this item. This product is a winner!
