The Dell E6400 notebook is quite different from the previously introduced devices by the Dell Company. It is quite obviously that the previous products are equipped with a circular curves and edges, which is not found in the Dell E6400 notebook. Instead of a rounded curves and edges the Dell expertise decided to equip the E6400 with a 90 degree edges and sharp angles, which is quite handy and firm. The edifice or better called the structure of the device is equipped with a magnesium alloy, which makes the plastic used in manufacturing the device not to be prone to smudges and a procurer finger's print.
Contrary to the glossy finish most manufacturers are equipping their product or laptop with, the Dell Company equipped the E6400 laptop with a matte finish, which is quite handy and would also suit the taste of enthusiastic procurers around the globe. The screen of the device is equipped with a size of 14 inch that has a resolution of 1440x900 pixels. Colors and Backlight are vibrant and bright respectively. Both horizontal and vertical viewing point of the screen of the device is quite handy and good for viewing movies and playing games. Lack of reflection in an office environment is one of the benefits of the matte finish the screen of the Dell E6400 is equipped with. Even in a sunlight circumstance the screen of the device is quite readable, in the sense that a procurer has the privilege to read information.
The keyboard found in the device is quite firm and would be comfortable for a procurer to type with. The force a procurer would use in the keyboard and the response are directly proportional. The Dell E6400 notebook is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo P9500 @ 2.53GHz processor. When you compare the device with the Lenovo T61notebook, one would find out that the E6400 notebook is quite superior. This is because the Lenovo T61 notebook is equipped with a Core 2 Duo T7500 @ 2.2GHz processor.
The front of the E6400 notebook features a SD card reader and a screen latch release while the back side plays host to the battery, display port, power connector, LAN and many more. The right side of the device is equipped with an optical drive, Headphone/Mic, wireless switches and two USB ports.
A 9-cell Lithium Ion battery supplies power to the E6400 notebook manufactured by the Dell Company. When the screen brightness is set in an average setting and minimal application are in use the battery life will stay for a longer period of time.
