A Review of Edwards Singles Turtle Pie: Fabulous

Thaw and Serve

Bridgitte Williams

I am a pie lover and I also like turtle caramel candies and treats, so when I spotted a box of Edwards Singles Turtle Pie in the frozen pies section of my local grocery store, I was thrilled! These pie slices looked very good. I decided to purchase them, try them and write a product review about my experience with them. Here is what I discovered!

One box of Edwards Singles Turtle Pie costs under three dollars. Each box has two individual turtle pie slices in it. The picture of this pie slice, on the outside of the box, made me drool. It looked great. This pie slice has creme filling, caramel, chocolate pieces, pecans and a chocolate cookie crust. Oh, my. That sounded simply heavenly. This dessert is very tempting. I could not wait to taste it!

For a firm texture, you can serve this pie right from the freezer. It is very good that way. My favorite way to have it is to let it thaw at room temperature for ten minutes first. When I tasted this pie, I loved it. It is delicious. The creamy filling is lovely and sweet. Very fluffy and dreamy. The caramel is rich and gives a wonderful flavor to this pie slice, as does the pecans and chocolate pieces. The topping is not skimpy. It is filling and delightful. The chocolate cookie crust is dazzling and so good. This pie slice goes above and beyond the turtle pie. Chocolate cookie bliss is added and it is a nice touch. This pie slice is a winner!

I rate Edwards Singles Turtle Pie five stars out of five stars. It is perfect and I would not change a thing. I will be buying this product again. It is a satisfying dessert that pleases. A relative of mine tried this dessert and she loved it, too. While it is not for dieters, it does make a sweet reward. One serving has 290 calories. 150 of those calories are from fat. One slice has 16 grams of total fat, 10 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 5 mg's of cholesterol, 210 mg's of sodium, 115 mg's of potassium, 34 grams of total carbs, 1 gram of dietary fiber, 23 grams of sugars and 3 grams of protein. This treat has small amounts of vitamin A, iron and calcium in it. This product does contain milk, wheat, soy and pecans.

I loved trying Edwards Singles Turtle Pie and writing a product review about it. It is one of the best frozen turtle pie slices I have ever tried. I love many Edwards brand frozen pies and this is one of my top picks. Hands down. The Edwards line of singles pie slices has many choices like cookies and cream, pecan and butterfinger pie, just to name a few. I love it! Fabulous.
