Like most women, I suffer from occasional stray hairs. You know, those annoying hairs on your face that are either too thick or too long to just blend in. They are digusting. Of course they have to go. Tweezing can take forever, but in the end, it always worked for me. Waxing only sometimes worked and I hadn't had luck with creams. Yet I was still willing to try something else even if it was a TV product. I'm no stranger to buying things I see on TV. I've bought several kitchen gadgets. Some work almost as well as the people on TV say they do. With others you wonder what exactly the person on TV was playing around with, because it obviously wasn't what you bought.
Being the skeptical person that I am, I had to prove the commercials wrong and try one of these Tweezes. The commercial claims that the Tweeze directs your unwanted hair towards the part that pulls the hair out. It also shows women removing hair with the Tweeze just as fast as an electric razor would shave off that hair. When I watched these commercials I did not even believe the Tweeze would be able to pull out a hair, much less find the hair easily and remove it quickly. I was about to be proven wrong.
After receiving my Tweeze, I was impressed with the sleek design. Then I put the batteries in and prepared for disappointment as I went for a chin hair. To my surprise, I quickly felt the hair being plucked out. Along with that hair, the Tweeze found a second hair right next to it and removed that as well. I didn't even have to search for the hairs, this thing found all the problem hairs on its own. It even found hairs that I didn't even know were problems. Soon I was very impressed.
As with all products, there are some drawbacks to this wonderful hair pulling machine. The Tweeze is hard to control if you're using it to pluck your eyebrows. Okay, so even the manufacturer doesn't recommend using this on eyebrows, but it would be nice if it was controllable enough for using on detailed eyebrow work. That would save a lot of time if I could do my eyebrows with the Tweeze as well.
Since the Tweeze practically has a mind of its own when it is tweezing, it's better to leave precision tweezing to the good old fashioned tweezers. The Tweeze is also rather painful if you use it on certain areas, such as the upper lip. For this reason, I would still recommend waxing the moustache area unless you just love the feel of pain. If you have unwanted hair anywhere else on your face besides your eyebrows and upper lip, this product is great for that.
Overall, I would have to say that I recommend the Tweeze. It saves me a lot of time and is very effective.

Post a CommentI bought it well over a year ago and have found it to be the best and easiest way to remove facial hairs and they don't grow back as fast. Wonderful invention.
Oh my goodness, that hurt so bad...Waxing is so much less painful. I am taking this thing back! Don't waste your money.
wow. I have massive chin hair. I mean ALOT and I bought one of these from walmart 2 nights ago. YES, it hurts, but boy does it work for me. It usually took me a good hour to pluck my chin, this, 5 mins at best as the hairs were very long. I think this thing is the helpfullness hair plucker since sliced bread :) It works!! You want a smooth, no stubble feeling like the cream leaves? Use this. It does hurt but when you have embarassing hair like I do, I almost cried from happiness. Painfull, yes, works, yes. Kinda like buckleys...tastes awfull, but it works.
Nice review - I bought one recently at a Bed Bath and Beyond - I am not amazed but it does the job
Wow, I was really surprised by this review. Most of the reviews about this product are really bad. On www.viewpoints.com, seven people reviewed it and it received less than 2 out of 5 stars. http://www.viewpoints.com/As-Seen-On-TV-Tweeze-Hair-Remover--20730-reviews
Sound like the first as seen on television product that might be any good. Thanks for the review.
