A Review of Fast Bites Spicy Chicken Sandwich: Only One Dollar

Bridgitte Williams

I love chicken sandwiches. When I came across a Fast Bites Spicy Chicken Sandwich in the frozen foods section of my local Dollar Tree store, I was intrigued by it. I had to admit, the picture of it, on the outside of the box, looked very good. I decided to buy this sandwich, try it out and write a product review about it. Here is what I discovered!

I bought one Fast Bites Spicy Chicken Sandwich for only one dollar. I loved that very low price. I am a fan of this brand and have tried many different types of Fast Bites frozen sandwiches. This one has a corn meal breaded chicken patty, seasoned with hot sauce powder, aged cayenne red peppers, cayenne pepper sauce, vinegar, garlic, paprika, all on a sesame seed bun. That sounded fabulous. I could not wait to taste this interesting sandwich. It is microwave friendly, I discovered. You can thaw these out in your refrigerator or cook them straight from the freezer. The microwave preparation is fast and easy. I opened one end of the plastic wrapper, placed the sandwich on a microwave safe plate and heated on high for one minute. I added mayo to it and served.

When I tasted this spicy chicken sandwich, I loved it. It has tang, spice and good flavor. It is not too spicy and I appreciated that fact. The chicken patty is tender and tasty. The bun is also good. I rate Fast Bites Spicy Chicken Sandwich four stars out of five stars. I will be buying this one again. I like adding mayo and pickles to it. This product makes an easy and quick lunch item for me to fix. It goes well with chips, fries or baked beans. It has 400 calories in it. 130 of those calories come from fat. It has 15 grams of total fat, 3 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 25 mg's of cholesterol, 590 mg's of sodium, 50 grams of total carbs, 2 grams of dietary fiber, 6 grams of sugars and 17 grams of protein. This sandwich has nice amounts of iron, vitamin C and calcium in it. This product does contain milk, wheat, soy and sesame seeds.

I had fun trying this product and writing a review about it. It saves me money and time spent in the kitchen. It is also filling and hearty. Just do not be expecting too much spice in this one. That is great by me. This spicy chicken sandwich is certainly worth the money. It is a winner, in my opinion.
