This cereal is sweet and fun but it is also good for you. The flavor is enough to entice little ones and their parents into eating a nutritious breakfast without giving up on flavor and fun. I love that this sweet strawberry flavored cereal turns the milk into a pink and strawberry flavored delight. Each serving of this cereal is a generous one cup sized portion and contains only 130 calories, without milk of course. This cereal is low in fat, which is always an added bonus. The other nutritional highlights of this sweet cereal include: It has no cholesterol, it contains dietary fiber, whole grain, protein, potassium, vitamin a, b12, b6, zinc, vitamin d and many more nutrients which make this a healthy snack or breakfast ideal for kids, adults and dieters. This cereal is also surprisingly lower in sugar than one might imagine with 12 grams of sugars per one cup serving.
Of course there are other flavors of this fun cereal available such as Boo Berry and Count Chocula. There is certainly a flavor to please any one who is looking for a fun cereal to indulge their inner child or sweet tooth, or maybe just to liven up their breakfast routine.
I am glad I took a trip down memory lane with Franken Berry Cereal made by General Mills. This cereal is just as great as I recall it being in the 80's when I was a kid. I will certainly purchase Franken Berry cereal again as well as Boo Berry and Count Chocula cereal and I would be likely to recommend this line of cereals to other shoppers who are looking for a fun and healthy cereal for themselves or their families. With General Mill's Franken Berry cereal you will enjoy the flavor and the colorful milk your cereal creates. Regardless of the price of this cereal it is an exceptional product and deal and I am thrilled that I purchased it.
I could not resist purchasing a cereal from my childhood when I found it on sale for an unbeatable price of $1 for a 9.6 ounce box of Franken Berry cereal. For those of you who have never had the pleasure of trying out this cereal, imagine this: Sweet Strawberry whole grain cereal shaped like ghosts with a consistency similar to that of Captain Crunch or Kix maybe. Purple, blue and white marshmallow ghosts complete the breakfast ensemble.
