A Review of The Golden Bull Restaurant in Gaithersburg, Maryland

Amanda Lay
The cost of the basic things in life seems to be increasing more each day. Gone are the days when I dined out on a regular basis. My wallet is not immune from an economy which is currently experiencing hard times. In an effort to decrease the pinch felt by having fewer pennies, I only dine out on special occasions. In celebration of, "National Volunteers Month," the volunteers at Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital were recently treated to a delicious dinner at, "Golden Bull Restaurant" which is conveniently located off of I-270 in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

A terrific time was had by everyone in attendance. Our delicious dinner began with a fresh salad. Following the salad, guests enjoyed a tender, succulent, Prime Rib with a baked potato. Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital did a fantastic job of making their valued volunteers feel like kings and queens for the evening. We certainly dined like royalty. The dinner was a simple gesture of thanks to the many volunteers who so generously give of their time, skills, and talents.

Those who volunteer at Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital often volunteer for many years. One person who was in attendance has been volunteering at the hospital for fifteen years. I have been a volunteer with Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital for a year and a half. Volunteering in the Marketing Department has been such an enjoyable experience for me and I plan to continue volunteering indefinitely. Having been a patient at other hospitals provides me with a very special opportunity to encourage patients experiencing their own journey of rehabilitation.

Following the remarks of Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital President and CEO Doris B. Rinehart, each of the volunteers received a Certificate of Participation and a gift bag. By providing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy to patients with acute injuries, Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital plays a vitally important part in the community which it serves. The many volunteers play a special part in serving the thousands of patients whom the hospital cares for each year.

The service and accessibility of, "Golden Bull Restaurant," were excellent. The entire staff was extremely helpful, courteous and attentive to our needs. As a matter of fact, I thought that the dinner at, "Golden Bull Restaurant" was very organized and well done. In particular, I appreciate everyone who worked so hard to make the dinner a very memorable and special event.

The next time that you are in the mood for a great prime rib dinner, I highly recommend, "Golden Bull Restaurant." A steak place of such high quality and reasonable prices is so hard to find. No other place in the area will you find such terrific food at a convenient location and a price that helps you save every penny!
