I like that the Hasbro Play-Doh: Fun With Food - Meal Makin' Kitchen provides an opportunity for my kids to really sit down and work on a project and perfect it. With the Hasbro Play-Doh: Fun With Food - Meal Makin' Kitchen, my kids mold chicken and steaks, ham, French fries, even vegetables! The Hasbro Play-Doh: Fun With Food - Meal Makin' Kitchen even has a pretend garlic press which can mold bacon as well. The Hasbro Play-Doh: Fun With Food - Meal Makin' Kitchen comes with over twenty molding accessories which makes the possibilities as to your child's creations endless.
Of course to make really beautiful creations, you have to purchase a whole lot of Play-Doh clay in various colors. But I do not mind shelling out a little bit more just so that my kids can use their Hasbro Play-Doh: Fun With Food - Meal Makin' Kitchen to its full potential. The Hasbro Play-Doh: Fun With Food - Meal Makin' Kitchen even includes ten recipe cards, to guide your kids in the beginning.
I really love how my children spend all day trying to come up with beautiful clay sculptures of turkey, ham, steak and the like. I even give them themes to work on sometimes. I particularly love giving them "Christmas Dinner" as a theme to work on, because here they have to think of around three meat dishes, sidings, vegetables and dessert. I was surprised that the Hasbro Play-Doh: Fun With Food - Meal Makin' Kitchen brought out my son's inner artist as he made the perfect turkey, complete with the leg and bone sticking out, and even garnishing and mashed potato sidings around it. It was really such a treat to see them use their resourcefulness to get the true to life appearance of the food. The Hasbro Play-Doh: Fun With Food - Meal Makin' Kitchen is really such a great and reasonable buy. As with all Play-Doh products, you are assured of the quality and good molding consistency of the clay. Even I myself like tinkering with the Hasbro Play-Doh: Fun With Food - Meal Makin' Kitchen, although I have only succeeded in making a passable imitation of toasted bread.
