The Indigo Joe's in Suwanee is the newest in a franchise that has become popular across a number of the southern states and one that is growing steadily in popularity. One visit to this location and it's easy to see why they are becoming that way.

This location definitely has more of a sports bar type theme even though there is a definite separation between the bar and restaurant area. Helmets, jerseys, framed photos, and other sports memorabilia hang on the walls and there are enough large screen plasma TV's dotted throughout the bar and restaurant to put Best Buy to shame. The interior is absolutely spotless and you could comfortably eat off of the floor although I wouldn't recommend it.

Food and Drink: A lot of the food is what you would expect to find at any sports bar with wings, burgers and appetizers to suit all tastes but they also have some interesting items on the menu that may come as a surprise such as fresh grilled swordfish and island fish tacos. It's all very reasonably priced and ranks up there with some of the best bar food I have tasted.
As far as drinks go, it's a beer drinkers paradise with 20 different beers on tap and tons more in bottles and cans. The draught beer comes in 14, 23 and a whopping 34 ounce glass that you pretty much have to drink two-handed. It's the only place in town that I know of that serves this size of beer.

Service: The service here is exceptional and the one thing that I have noticed in the few months that they have been opened is that there has been little or no staff turnover that I have seen, something that is almost unheard of in this industry. It tells me that the staff is happy working there and a happy staff makes for great customer service.

Extras: There are a ton of great little extras at Joe's. It is definitely very family oriented and there is a cool little video games room for the kids to play in. For the grown up's who want to play there is a Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament every Monday night, Team trivia every Thursday, and they also have the NTN controllers where you can play QB1 or trivia against other people from bars all over the country not to mention live music most weekends out on the patio.

So, if you live in or around the Suwanee area and are stuck for a place to take the entire family for good food and great entertainment then I recommend that you head on over to Joe's. You won't be disappointed.
