A Review of Jet Blue Airways

This summer, I traveled with Jet Blue Airways, and I must say, I was quite pleased. From the moment I arrived on the plane to the moment I landed, everything was smooth. The pilot and flight attendants were very friendly and the service and hospitality were top notch.

I was truly impressed with how efficient they were with time. When my family and I were waiting to board the plane, they let us all get on early because everyone was present. They did the same thing when we were on our way home as well. Sure, it is only ten to twenty minutes, but when you are waiting around and anxious to get to your destination, every minute saved counts!

Jet Blue was the first airline I have traveled with that offered free television to each of its passengers. You did not have to be sitting in first class to receive this perk. Everyone had a decent amount of leg room, the famous tray table, and a television on the back of the seat on front of them. There were about forty different channels, including VH1, MTV, other music channels, FOX, National Geographic, and a channel featuring only Simpson's episodes.

They also offered a complimentary drink and snack to each of the passengers. These included animal crackers, chocolate chip cookies, biscotti, chips, a snack mix, along with other delicious treats. My only complaint was that the chocolate chip cookies were very limited. I was excited to chow down on some delicious chocolately goodness, but was disappointed when I opened the bag to find four miniature cookies practically crumbling to pieces.

One other minor disappointment was the chips. My mother asked for the potato chips, which are blue. They are the official potato chip of Jet Blue airlines, so how bad could they be right? Well, apparently they are terrible and not worth wasting your snack opportunity on. My mom tasted one and could not bear to eat the rest.

On a more positive note, one major perk is that they offer freshly brewed Dunkin Donuts coffee. It is not an extra fee. It is an actual option on their complimentary drink menu. I asked for it, and to my surprise, it came in a Dunkin Donuts cardboard cup with the lid, stirrer, sugar, milk, and all.

Last but not least, and most importantly, the pilot took off and landed the plane very smoothly, and we all got to where we were headed safe and sound. No bumpy ride for us! Overall, I was thoroughly impressed and happy with my family's choice to travel with Jet Blue this summer. It was well worth the money, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning to travel.
