When I came across a box of Kashi Go Lean Chocolate Malted Crisp Bars in the snacks section of my favorite grocery store, I was delighted. These looked so good. The price was right and I decided to buy them. I could not wait to taste these. Here is a product review all about what I found out!

This snack has a lot going for it. It is packed with protein and that is always a good thing. These are all natural and I appreciated that fact. With five grams of fiber, these intrigued me. They are chocolate coated bars with malt, crisps, wheat bran, honey, cane juice, barley, buckwheat, brown rice, whole oats, sesame seeds, pear juice, cocoa powder, chicory root fiber, chocolate liquor, vanilla extract and many other ingredients in them. I have been writing food product reviews for a long time now, and I have never seen this unique blend of ingredients before. Quite astounding and note worthy, I must say.

One box of these costs around three dollars, depending on what store that you buy them in. Each box has four individually wrapped bars in it. These are quite portable and easy to pack in lunches and take on the go. When I tasted Kashi Go Lean Chocolate Malted Crisp Bars, I really liked them. They are chocolate bliss and the malt and crisps add fabulous crunch to this snack. Sweet and filling. These are delightful. I rate them four stars out of five stars. I will be buying them again. They give me energy and satisfy my chocolate sweet toothed craving.

One bar has 190 calories in it. Only 40 of those calories are from fat. One bar has 4.5 grams of total fat, 3.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 0 mg's of cholesterol, wow, 120 mg's of sodium, 130 mg's of potassium, 31 grams of total carbs, 5 grams of fiber, yay, 18 grams of sugars and 12 grams of protein. These bars have nice amounts of calcium and iron in them. This product does contain soy, wheat and milk ingredients. They may also contain tree nuts.

The motto for this brand is "Seven whole grains on a mission." That is wonderful, as I need all the whole grains that I can get into my daily diet. Kashi Go Lean Chocolate Malted Crisp Bars also have their own motto. "Stay fuller longer." I agree. These do that fabulously. This protein and fiber rich bar was a joy to try and I wrote this product review to let all know that I think this product is a winner! They keep me going and are fun.
