A Review of the Kodak EasyShare C913 a 9.2 Megapixel Digital Camera
A Great Deal on a Major Brand Name Camera
Image Quality: 3.5/5

Product Overview:
The Kodak EasyShare C913 that I am reviewing is the Silver model however it is available in various colors. The back features a 2.4 inch LCD screen to view your images which is fairly large for its class. In overtly bright condictions this screen can be difficult to see and it does not have a view finder so keep this in mind. It is a point and shoot so it is quite small and will easily fit in your boat pocket or purse. The outer shell is plastic and doesn't feel tremendously sturdy however I haven't had a problem with it.
The features are limited but it does include several preset shooting options. It includes a high ISO option for low light conditions however low light photos do have some noise which would be expected in this price range. Properly lit photos turn out well and thanks to Kodak's blur reducing technology about every photo turns out printable. The only concern is that some may find the small buttons annoying especially if you have large fingers. However, the digital camera's layout is intuitive and even the most technologically inexperienced individual should have an easy time getting the hang of it.
The optical zoom is a 3x zoom, which is standard, and thanks to the included stabilizer still takes great photos even at maximum zoom. This camera does include a digital zoom which essentially blows us the photo resulting in a reduction of quality so I don't recommend going beyond this camera's optical zooming capabilities.
Product Value:
The Kodak EasyShare C913 is normally available for about $100 however the black Friday deal that Walgreens is proposing is significantly lower than this at $79.99. For less than $80 it is hard to find a brand name digital camera capable of taking photos at greater than 9 megapixels. This is a fantastic deal for those types of consumers interested in casual photography. This encompasses the majority of consumers. If you're interested in a more professional camera then you'll need to keep shopping around.
