Auto programming will detect and apply the settings which are best in the scene you're photographing. The Kodak Easyshare Z700 also features 17 scene modes to unsure you never miss a shot. Additionally, you can get as close as you want to your subject with the 5x optical zoom. Wanna go closer still? The LED screen located on the back of the unit is one and a half inches of full color display. From this screen you can change your menu settings such as time and date or you can review your photos in a variety of ways, including slideshow and thumbnail views.
The Kodak Easyshare Z700 also allows you to capture up to 80 minutes of video and audio, depending on the size of the external memory card used. The
Kodak Easyshare Z700 comes complete with audio/video cables so you can connect your camera to your television and enjoy your videos or slideshows through your television screen.
The internal memory space of the Kodak Easyshare Z700 is the only downside. With a paltry 16MB of internal storage capacity, an external memory card is required if you want to take more than 8-10 pictures at the highest resolution before downloading them.
The Kodak Easyshare Z700 was designed to be used with the Kodak Easyshare Printer Dock Series 3 - an all in one charger and photo printer base for your camera. This is an optional feature purchased separately that isn't required to use your camera. It comes with all the software needed to load the camera onto your computer and render it functional.
