A Review of Kohls.com

Ryanick Paige
It is known that Kohls.com provides the online shoppers of the world with some extraordinary deals. Clearance prices are up to 60%, 70%, and even 90% off with the occasional extra 25% off sale on them as well. These savings can also be combined the generous 30% off and free shipping coupons that Kohls.com sends to there customers. Two coupons can be used at the same time, which is nice since many stores do not allow that.

Just recently, I was able to pick up a Laura Ashley bedding set that Kohls had regular priced at $419.99. It was one clearance with an extra 25% off for $31.49. I then had a 30% off coupon code and a free shipping code as well. This made the total $22.04 plus tax for a king size comforter set. When I figured it out, including tax, I had gotten 95% off. Another phenomenal deal was the bread machine that was regularly $99.99, on clearance with the additional 25% off for $7.49. With the 30% off coupon and free shipping, I paid under $6.00 and that included the tax. A total of 94% off the regular price.

Now I will admit that deals at great as these come and go quickly on Kohls.com. In a previous article, I wrote about the Firefox add-on check4change that will alert you when these great deals come back into stock, which they do often at Kohls.com. Out of stock items at Kohls.com can come back into stock for just minutes or sometimes hours depending on the quantity they have available.

Even as much as we love the bargains that we can find at Kohls online, online shoppers hate the online store just as much. Their site is finicky and can be difficult to navigate through the pages. You often are directed back to the main page when trying to go somewhere else. The site can be terribly slow and the shopping cart is persnickety to say the least. At Kohls.com out of stock items are not removed from the site in a timely manner. In fact, many items are not even listed as out of stock until you at the end of the check out process.

For a company as large as Kohls you would think that their website would be top notch and accurate. I find it very frustrating to have this sort of experience at a store that I love to shop at and that is able to give such phenomenal deals its customers.

I never knew about deals such as these. It may be worth the cr*py site for some of these deals. I will have to check it out.

I got someone a Kohl's gift card for their wedding present. =) It was so nice to see such an honest review, but I agree, in-store shopping is better.

I've had similar experiences with Kohl's online. I got a great deal on Laura Ashley bedding, but the site kept freezing up when I was trying to check out.
