A Review of Kroger Mouth Wash

Johanna Swith
The price of just about everything has dramatically increased. The almighty dollar just does not stretch as far as it used to. This means purchasing generic and store brand products has become a necessity for many people. I have made it my mission to always buy a generic or store brand over a national brand product. In this review I want to share my thoughts and experience with Kroger brand antiseptic mouth wash.

I shudder whenever I am face to face with the price tag on Listerine brand mouth wash. I refuse to spend between five and seven dollars for a bottle of mouth wash! I first tried Kroger brand mouth wash when I saw the smallest bottles, which are around 9 ounces I believe were on sale for the unbeatable price of $1. I have since been purchasing the Kroger brand antiseptic mouth wash on a regular basis.

This product is available in several different sizes up to a nearly 34 fluid ounce bottle. Kroger brand antiseptic mouth wash is available in several flavors also, such as spring mint, orange and the yellow formula which is similar to medicine. Like you would expect Kroger mouth wash helps fight germs and bacteria that can cause breath issues, gum disease and plaque. It does have the slight burn that indicates it is working, and it will leave your breath extremely fresh.

When comparing the Kroger brand of antiseptic mouth wash to Listerine it is as effective and much more affordable. The only things you will notice by using the Kroger brand is the different label on the bottle and the savings, normally at least $2 per bottle in savings!

Kroger brand antiseptic mouth wash is accepted by the American Dental Association, and it does contain ingredients that are comparable to the active qualities of the national brands such as Listerine. Switching to this store brand product makes a lot of sense when you consider that you are getting a great product that is just as effective as the national brand. It is like you are saving money because the Kroger brand does not do a lot of advertising for specific products.

I will continue to purchase the Kroger brand antiseptic mouth wash and I would recommend it to others. I have been buying this store brand for almost 3 years now with no complaints or regrets! The Kroger brand helps your money stretch farther without giving up on effectiveness or quality.
