A Review of Krusteaz Fat Free Wild Blueberry Muffin Mix

Bridgitte Williams

I love blueberry muffins and when I came across a box of Krusteaz Fat Free Wild Blueberry Muffin Mix in the muffin mixes section of my local grocery store, I was delighted. I am a fan of this brand. I decided to try this mix out and write a product review. Here is what I discovered!

This mix is very affordable. One box is only a few dollars. Each box yields eleven muffins. Not bad. One thing that I immediately loved about this mix is that all I needed to prepare it is water. Fantastic. The mix comes with a can of wild blueberries. I combined the mix ingredients as instructed on the box, poured the batter into a greased muffin pan and baked at 400 degrees for twenty minutes. I cooled the muffins for ten minutes, before serving. These looked good and they smelled fabulous. When I tasted Krusteaz Fat Free Wild Blueberry Muffins, I liked them. They have lots of blueberries in them. They are moist and very flavorful. They are also not too sweet. These muffins are a bit small and if you double up on the batter, you can make these a larger size. You can also make quick bread with this mix, if you pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake.

I was impressed with this mix and I will be buying it again. I rate this product four stars out of five stars. It is so easy to make these. Fast and little fuss. That is always welcome in my kitchen. It was nice not to have to crack eggs or add butter or milk. Everything that you need is in the box and this mix is worth the money. One muffin has 130 calories. 0 of those calories are from fat. Awesome! One muffin has 0 grams of total fat, 0 grams of saturated fat, 0 mg's of cholesterol, 280 mg's of sodium, 31 grams of total carbs, 2 grams of dietary fiber, 15 grams of sugars and 2 grams of protein. This product does contain eggs, wheat, soy and may contain traces of nuts. I loved trying Krusteaz Fat Free Wild Blueberry Muffin Mix and it is a winner. The Krusteaz brand has many different kinds of dessert mixes and many of them are fat free. My relatives just loved these fat free and cholesterol free blueberry muffins. I agree!
