A Review of Land O Lakes Sour Cream: Supreme

I love sour cream. I use it on baked potatoes, in chili, dips and in many of my homemade recipes. Recently, I was shopping at my local Dollar Tree store and I came across a container of Land O Lakes Sour Cream. The price was certainly right. I realized that I had never tried this particular brand of sour cream before. I decided to purchase it, try it out and write a product review all about my personal experience with it. Here is what I discovered!

I bought three eight ounce containers of Land O Lakes Sour Cream, each for only one dollar. The container is small, but it has seven servings in it. I am familiar with the Land O Lakes brand of butter and I do like it. Their sour cream is pasteurized and grade A. That sounded great to me. I bought several containers of this sour cream because the budget friendly price was just hard to resist. I could not wait to taste it!

I tried this sour cream in my favorite sour cream and onion dip homemade recipe. It was delicious. I noticed that this sour cream is really creamy. A bit more than my usual brand. That impressed me. I tried this sour cream in some chili and loved it, too. It works well on baked potatoes and in my casseroles, I discovered. It tastes fresh and great. I rate Land O Lakes Sour Cream four stars out of five stars. It is perfect for my recipes and so affordable. I will be buying it again. I highly recommend it.

One serving has 60 calories. 50 of those calories are from fat. One serving has 5 grams of total fat, 3.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 20 mg's of cholesterol, 30 mg's of cholesterol, 45 mg's of potassium, 2 grams of total carbs, 0 grams of dietary fiber, 1 gram of sugars and 1 gram of protein. This product does contain milk. It has a small amount of calcium in it. This sour cream also comes in fat free and light, too.

I enjoyed trying Land O Lakes Sour Cream and writing this product review about it. This brand also has honey butter, cinnamon sugar butter spread, unsalted butter, whipped butter and olive oil butter. Their products include cocoa and cappuccino mixes, half and half, whipping cream, cheese and seasonings like butter seasoning, Parmesan and herb, ranch and three cheese seasonings, just to name a few. I discovered that this brand has a lot of products that I am looking forward to trying. Their sour cream is a winner! Supreme sour cream.
