I am a long time fan of many Lay's brand snacks. Recently, I came across a bag of Lay's Kettle Cooked Spicy Cayenne & Cheese Potato Chips, in the chips section of my local favorite grocery store. These are made with all natural ingredients and they caught my attention. I decided to buy them, try them out and write a food product review all about my experience with them. Here is what I discovered!
I bought one bag of Lay's Kettle Cooked Spicy Cayenne & Cheese Potato Chips for a bit over three dollars. Since each bag has nine servings in it, that is a decent deal. These chips have so many awesome things going for them. White cheddar cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, skim milk, cheddar cheese, tomato powder, cayenne red pepper, garlic powder, paprika, seasonings and other ingredients all make this snack taste very special. These chips are MSG free, made with all natural potatoes and seasonings and have no artificial preservatives or artificial flavors in them. That is fantastic!
When I tasted these chips, I fell in love with them. They pack fabulous flavor and taste. They are also very zesty without being too spicy. The crunch is great. Kettle cooked chips are what you get with these. They are delicious. A few of my friends tried these chips with me and they all agreed that they were very good. This is a fun and affordable high quality snack. I would expect nothing less from the Lay's brand. I rate Lay's Kettle Cooked Spicy Cayenne & Cheese Potato Chips four and one half stars out of five stars. I will be buying these again. They are creative and different. A zesty potato chip craver's heaven. I have lots of experience reviewing food products and this snack is a winner, in my book. They are very thick and hearty and that is what makes a true kettle cooked chip.
One serving has 150 calories. 80 of those calories are from fat. One serving equals sixteen chips. Sixteen of these chips have 9 grams of total fat, 1 gram of saturated fat, 2 grams of polyunsaturated fat, 4.5 grams of monounsaturated fat, 0 mg's of cholesterol, yay, 140 mg's of sodium, 350 mg's of potassium, 16 grams of total carbs, 1 gram of dietary fiber, 1 gram of sugars and 2 grams of protein. This product does contain milk ingredients, important information for food allergy sufferers. This snack has nice amounts of vitamins C and B6.
I loved trying Lay's Kettle Cooked Spicy Cayenne & Cheese Potato Chips and writing this product review. This snack is a winner, in my opinion. It can stand alone, but also goes great with a wide variety of different dips. A Frito Lay product. The motto for this snack is "Happiness in every crunch." and I so agree.
