A Review on Miracle-Gro Potting Mix, for Bigger Plants and Flowers

Dee
If your planning on planting this spring, whether it be flowers, or vegetables, trees, or shrubs, your plants will grow bigger with the help of Miracle-Gro. Miracle-Gro is said to make plants grow twice as big as ordinary planting soil. It can be used for either indoor or outdoor containers.

I bought a 10 quart bag of Miracle-Gro potting mix to start my indoor plants. I had many babies on my spider plants and wanted to get them going in their own individual pots. I collect pots from thrift stores, and yard sales all year that are just the right size for indoor potting plants.

I used the Miracle-Gro mix for the babies, and within a week they were already twice the size they were when I first planted them. I decided also to start an indoor herb garden. I bought a seed starter kit for herbs. The container has 36 cells, and came with packages of herbs. I used the Miracle-Gro mixture for the herbs, and within a couple of days the seeds were already sprouting. Soon I will transplant them into bigger, individual pots, using the Miracle-Gro mixture.

Miracle-Gro feeds plants for up to 3 months and has a continuous release plant food. Miracle-Gro is made of rich organic materials for strong, vigorous plant development and excellent drainage, as advertised on the package. A 10 quart bag will fill three 8 inch wide pots, but more smaller sized ones.

I plan on using Miracle-Gro when I plant at my loved ones grave sides for Memorial Day. Because I cannot tend to the flowers I grow there on a regular basis, Miracle-Gro will help the flowers grow larger and stronger. The years I used Miracle-Gro on the cemetery flowers, the flowers were much larger, and healthier and needed less care. Without the Miracle-Gro the flowers were wilted, and much smaller.

The ingredients in Miracle-Gro are as reads from the package:

This product is formulated from forest products compost and Canadian sphagnum peat moss. perlite, a wetting agent and fertilizer.

Miracle-Gro also has other products available, and a new shake and feed for plants. Some of the other products available are plant food, applicators, garden weed preventer, soils, indoor plant care, rose care, organic choice products, and a new shake and feed for plants.

The Miracle-Gro website has many planting and gardening tips.

Yes I have taken Easter Lilys that were thrown in the trash at the cemetary and planted them and they rebloomed the next year, but not at Easter

This year I was given an Easter Lily after it had bloomed I repotted it cut it back and left it out side the only things we did were to use miracle grow potting soil and the liquid feed when watering.
Now there are four plants in that same pot three have buds and one has bloomed. My question is has anyone ever heard of this before? We have checked around our area and no one has heard of a Easter Lily blooming again.
