Muddy's Bake Shop is located at 5101 Sanderlin Avenue in Memphis, TN. Their telephone number is 901-683-8844. Here is a link to their website (www.muddysbakeshop.com/). It is located in close proximity to the Racquet Club of Memphis and the Doubletree Hotel Memphis. It is located between South Mendenhall and South White Station Roads.

It is such a unique place. It is colorful and inviting. It is so small and intimate that you almost feel like you are eating at your kitchen table. Their desserts are baked from scratch and they make pies, breads, and cupcakes along with other great sweets.

I have been twice and each time I have gotten a 'Frankly Scarlett' cupcake. This cupcake has incredible cream cheese icing on top of red velvet cupcake. It is one of the best things I have ever tasted. This past time my wife got the 'Tomboy.' It has peanut butter icing on top of chocolate cupcake. You can see a picture of the 'Tomboy' by clicking here (www.muddysbakeshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/small-tomboy-cupcakes.jpg). Quite possibly the second best thing I have ever tasted, right behind a 'Frankly Scarlett' cupcake. Click this link right here to see a menu (www.muddysbakeshop.com/menu/baked-goods/).

If you are in Memphis you have to try Muddy's. The place is incredible. I love the atmosphere as much as I love the cupcakes. When I go in there the smell of the cupcakes along with the peaceful surroundings make me forget about all the stress of life. I would say if you do not enjoy your trip to Muddy's than send me your bill and I will pay it, but instead I will just say that you are crazy.

(Please note that Muddy's is closed on Sunday and Monday. They have a very small lunch menu (e.g., sandwiches, soup, salad) that is served from 11am until 2pm on Tuesday through Friday.)
