I am a longtime fan of ice cream sandwiches. When I came across a box of Nestle Skinny Cow Vanilla Low Fat Ice Cream Sandwiches in the ice cream section of my local favorite grocery store, I was thrilled! I decided to purchase these, try them and write a product review all about my personal experience. Here is what I discovered!
I bought one box of Nestle Skinny Cow Vanilla Low Fat Ice Cream Sandwiches for around four dollars. Not a bad deal. Each box has six individually wrapped ice cream sandwiches in it. These are pretty low cal, very low in fat, low in cholesterol and calcium rich. Wow! Believe it or not, I also discovered that these have a nice amount of fiber in them. Ice cream with fiber? Yep. I was quite impressed by that fact, I must admit. I could not wait to taste these!
The box is yellow and white. It features a lounging skinny black and white cow. So cute. The cow has a tape measure wrapped around it's waist. I am not kidding. I cracked up at that image. Too funny. I love many Nestle brand food products, so this one was a must try for me. It has two rich chocolate wafers sandwiching a nice portion of vanilla ice cream. The skinny cow logo is etched into the chocolate wafer on top. Designer ice cream sandwiches. Whoa. I felt spoiled already. When I tasted these, I loved them. They are delicious and I could not tell that this was a low fat ice cream treat. Perfect. The chocolate is great and the ice cream is yummy and satisfying. I rate these four and one half stars out of five stars. They could have been a bit bigger, but I guess they would not be skinny cow if they were. Oh, well. I will be buying these again. A relative of mine loves these and recommended them to me. I agree. They are fantastic!
One Nestle Skinny Cow Vanilla Low Fat Ice Cream Sandwich has 140 calories. Only 15 of those calories are from fat. Fantastic! One of these has 1.5 grams of total fat, 1 gram of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, less than 5 mg's of cholesterol, 135 mg's of sodium, 30 grams of total carbs, 3 grams of fiber, yay, 15 grams of sugars and 4 grams of protein. This dessert provides me with twenty percent of my daily calcium need. One of these equals four weight watchers points plus calculated by Dreyer's grand ice cream, inc.
I enjoyed trying Nestle Skinny Cow Vanilla Low Fat Ice Cream Sandwiches and writing this product review about them. They are a fun and healthy ice cream treat. Very tasty and guilt free. I love it! This one is a winner!
