A Review of Nexxus Humectress Luxe Leave-In Hair Conditioner

I made a trip to the local drug store for some make-up that was on sale and the shampoo aisle just happened to be right directly behind me. I then noticed that seemed to be calling me by name. It was offering some cash back on Nexxus products and I thought wow.....that would make this 50% off, what do I have to lose? I went home with a bottle of Nexxus Humectress Luxe leave in conditioner and could not be more pleased with the effect it has had on my hair.

I have short dark hair that is requiring more and more color and chemical processing as I age. My hair frequently looks dry and dull but a few sprays of the Nexxus Humectree Luxe after a quick towel dry has made a measurable difference in the looks of my do.

This new addition to the Nexxus line has a slight tropical scent with the bottle indicating that it is formulated with Vitamin E, Coconut Oil and Honey Extract. It easily sprays straight onto your hair, no messy rubbing it in the palms first. A few squirts is all that it takes so I think that while the bottle may be a bit expensive ($10.99 for 5.1 0z.), it should last for a while.

I use the Nexxus Humectress Luxe before I apply any other hair products to my hair and either blow dry with an ionic hair dryer or let it dry naturally for a loose curly look. As a result of using the Nexxus Humectress Luxe, my hair looks and feels, smooth, shiny and soft. It is amazing that just a few sprays of a product can have such a dramatic effect on dry, damaged hair.

With other smoothing hair products that I have tried in the past, the product would leave my hair limp and lifeless. The Nexxus Humectress Luxe seems to hold a style better for a longer period of time; it doesn't weight my hair down or make it look heavy or oily.

On a final note, if I had to give the Nexxus Humectress Luxe Ultimate Moisturizing leave-in spray a rating, it would be five out of five stars. The product smells great and seems to work all day . This Nexxus product has to be one of the best hair products that I have tried in a long time. The most impressive thing is to find a product that actually does what it says it will do. The Nexxus Humectree Luxe leave-in conditioner definitely exceeded my expectations and I would buy it again....even if it weren't on sale.
