The Nikon Coolpix 7900 is equipped with a 2 inch LCD screen to view your images clearly. Featuring Nikons new Face-Priority AF function, the Nikon Coolpix 7900 will find a face in a portrait and ensure proper focus on the face when you select the Portrait Scene Mode on the camera. In addition, the Nikon Coolpix 7900 is equipped with an in-camera red eye fix which will detect and fix red eye in the portrait automatically.
Exclusively from Nikon is the D-Lighting function found on the Nikon Coolpix 7900. When the camera is in playback mode and this feature is selected, the D-Lighting automatically adjusts the photo if the flash was insufficient or there was excessive back light. This maintains balanced exposure all through the picture. The Nikon Coolpix 7900 also boasts a Blur Warning, also exclusive to Nikon, which will alert the shooter when the picture may be distorted due to moving the camera. This is a great feature, as it allows for the user to take another shot prior to leaving the setting. The Voice Memo option on the Nikon Coolpix 7900 allows the user to add up to 20 seconds of sound to an image. Furthermore, the Nikon Coolpix 7900 has a long battery life, taking about 220 pictures per fully charged battery.
Scene Modes are another remarkable feature on the Nikon Coolpix 7900. The camera has four modes for various common settings. Once you choose the mode that suits your setting and subject the best, you point and click and the camera adjusts the setting for optimal image quality in that scene. Additionally, the Nikon Coolpix 7900 features the capability to record VGA- size movies, producing sound at a rate of 30 frames per second.
The Nikon Coolpix 7900 digital camera provides top-quality images with easy to use features. Relatively inexpensive and lightweight, the Nikon Coolpix 7900 integrates cutting edge technology inside a compact design, resulting in a digital camera capable of producing sharp, beautiful photographs. The Nikon Coolpix 7900 is versatile, stylish, and compact, making it the perfect camera for just about anybody.
