Just because you're not going to make a lot of money doesn't mean it's not worth it to give Hits4Pay a try. Hits4Pay is an online advertising company. They have a collection of advertisers who pay Hits4Pay to show online ads to you. Some of that money is then passed on to you.
For the most part, these ads are not offers that you want to take advantage of. There are a lot of those get rich quick scheme ads. In order to get paid, though, you don't have to do anything but view the ad.
The problem with Hits4Pay is that you really don't get paid much at all. There is a $10 bonus for signing up, but you don't get paid until you hit the $25 mark. I've been a member since February 2007 and am only up to $16.59. For each ad that you view you make two cents, and for each ad that one of your affiliates views, you make one cent. Hits4Pay goes one level lower as well, and pays you one cent for your affiliate's affiliate.
So, why is it still worth it? The biggest key to making $30-$40 a month is signing up people underneath you. I only have two people beneath me, which is why I haven't made much. The person who I signed up under is making $100 a month because she has about 200 affiliates underneath her. The thing is, it really doesn't take any time to view the ads. You'll get an email saying you have a new ad to view, you click on the link, sign into your account and the ad comes up in your browser. It will play for a minute or so. You can just minimize your browser and continue to read your other emails. If you have a blog, the easiest way to try to get new affiliates is to write a post.
If you're interested in trying it out, I would recommend choosing as many categories as they allow (you want to get as many ads as possible), and then try signing other people up. My recommendation? Why not try it out for a month or so? You have nothing to lose- it's free to do it- and you can always quit. You can join by clicking Hits4Pay.

I'm not really into affiliate marketing, but I did sign up for this website about a month ago. Thanks for the heads up to not expect a payout for a few years! I thought I might reach it at about one year, but haven't taken the time to calculate an estimate given the average so far.
