A Review of Pepperidge Farm Coconut 3 Layer Cake: With Coconut Filling

I do so love many Pepperidge Farm brand frozen desserts. Recently, I came across Pepperidge Farm Coconut 3 Layer Cake, in the frozen cakes section of my local favorite grocery store. Let me tell you, this cake looked good. It was also on sale. I decided to buy it, try it out and write a product review all about my personal experience with it. Here is what I discovered!

I bought one Pepperidge Farm Coconut 3 Layer Cake for a bit over three dollars. This was a buy one cake, get one cake free deal. Wow! I couldn't resist that. The picture of this cake, on the front of the box, tempted me. Three layers of coconut cake heaven, and a coconut cream filling in between each layer. Sigh. A dessert dream. I could not wait to taste this cake!

Though this cake is frozen, you can still thaw the entire thing at room temperature in an hour. You can also leave this cake frozen and thaw each piece in your microwave. I liked that! I placed a slice on a microwave safe plate and heated for one minute and served. When I tasted this coconut cake, I fell in love with it. Totally. It is light and airy. It is perfectly sweet. The coconut frosting is divine. Lots of shredded coconut on the top of this cake and it tastes very fresh. Those who like heavy cake may not appreciate this one. I happen to love light style type cakes. This one floats on the tongue. Delicious. I rate Pepperidge Farm Coconut 3 Layer Cake four and one half stars out of five stars. I will be buying this one again.

It is perfect for family gatherings, holiday parties and anytime. It is a winner! Pepperidge Farm has many types of frozen cakes available including Chocolate fudge, golden vanilla, fudge stripe, devil's food, lemon, key lime and German chocolate, just to name a few. Yum.
