One would think that Purex laungry detergent would cost just as much as the more expensive brands. However, it is very affordable. This item costs around $3 on sale and even as the full price at some discount stores.

Purex will allow you to skip cheap detergents that may not clean your clothes too well.

I used Purex for about 8 months and had no problem until some dripped onto some chrome on my dryer. I now have a hole where it corroded it away! Also have a few white spots on my husband's shirts lately. I switched to Tide!! I have pictures if anyone wants to see!

i just did a science fair project on this detergent and tide brand worked best and this detergent did not clean away any of the stains and it was the worst detergent
