A Review of Several Household Cleaning Products

Johanna Swith
A clean home tops my list of priorities, and I spend quite an amount of time cleaning up after my family and our two dogs. I have been disappointed by a few cleaning products, and I have been very impressed by others. On this multiple product review I wish to share my experiences and help consumers to make an informed decision on what cleaning products are worth buying and what to save your money on and avoid.

A house is not clean in my opinion if it does not smell fresh and inviting. Let me start off with the Glade Wisp Flame Less Candle. I must admit I was skeptical of this flame less candle, but I got one anyhow. The Glade Wisp Flame less Candle retails for around ten dollars for the starter kit in my area.

Putting the Glade Wisp Flame less Candle together is a breeze. It is easy to assemble, within minutes I had it ready to go. I love the simple, yet elegant glass holder as well as the fact that the fragrance is adjustable to suit my preference from very light and subtle to very strong. I leave my Glade wisp flame less candle set at 3 which is medium and it leaves my dining room smelling great. My dining room is quite large and the fragrance is distinguishable through out the room. I also love how realistic the flame less candle appears. In a house with pets and kids this is a great option as it is a lot safer than a traditional candle. The Glade wisp flame less candle can turn any room into a romantic getaway if only for a minute of peace from the kids.

To achieve a fresh and clean house I depend on my cleaning products to perform every bit as well as they are advertised to work. I use a Clorox ready mop daily but I eventually grew tired of paying around six dollars per package for Clorox ready mop refills. I took a chance and purchased Great Value wet cleaning pad refills. They cost a little over two dollars for twelve refills and they work just as well as the Clorox ready mop pads if not better, especially when you consider that they are only a third of the total cost. Why pay more for a name brand if a store brand product performs just as well if not better at a fraction of the price?

Finally, I want to let you know about the latest greatest Dawn dish liquid on the market: Dawn Simple Pleasures. Not only does this ultra concentrated dish liquid produce a lot of bubbles and get your dishes as clean as you would expect any Dawn product to, but it is also a multi tasking dish liquid. In the base of the bottle you will find a matching fragrance air freshener. This is a powerful air freshener that will last longer than the dish liquid does.
