We ordered a basket of sweet potato fries for the table and even though the waitress suggested the basket feed two people, it managed to feed five. One taste and I could tell the sweet potato fries were made from scratch. They really did taste like baked sweet potatoes but with a crispy coating; not bad for $4.
Entrees
I wanted to have the ostrich slider but unfortunately ostrich was not available that day so I settled for the Wagyu: Kobe beef from Australia topped with asparagus tips. The Wagyu also comes with bleu cheese but I opted to have mine without cheese. The slider was actually bigger than I had thought it would be and was quite filling for a little burger. The beef was lean, juicy and cooked just the way I like it - medium rare.
My mom loved her turkey slider which was topped with spinach, feta cheese, yellow red bell peppers topped with melted provolone cheese, grilled pineapple, fresh guacamole and pico de gallo on bun - sounds pretty delicious, doesn't it?
I had an opportunity to try the peanut and jelly slider which is also made with banana and it honestly tasted like a freshly made crepe found in the Paris, France; yes it was that good. My nephew had the Sloppy Joe slider which was probably the most disappointing slider because it was too sweet; hopefully they'll perfect that one so it stands out as much as the other sliders Stax Burger Bistro in Scottsdale, AZ has to offer.
Some of the other slider options include Ahi, veggie, lamb, buffalo, and white fish. Stax Burger Bistro in Scottsdale, AZ has an extensive drink menu including mixed cocktails, wine, margaritas, and beer. They even have gourmet soda bottles with flavors like orange cream and root beer.
