I am a big fan of Swiss cheese. I like to cook with it, use it on sandwiches and include it in many other creative ways into my diet. Recently, I came across a pack of Sunny Acres Swiss Slices in the refrigerated dairy section of my local Dollar Tree store. I was delighted. I decided to purchase these Swiss slices, try them out and write a product review all about my personal experience with them. Here is what I discovered!
I bought one pack of Sunny Acres Swiss Slices for only one dollar. What a food budget friendly low price. Each pack has sixteen slices in it. Awesome! I was not familiar with the Sunny Acres brand name. This great product is made here in the USA. I loved that fact. It is distributed by Smart Price Sales located in Schaumburg, IL. These slices are also low in fat. Awesome! I could not wait to try them!
I love grilled Swiss cheese sandwiches, so I decided to try this product that way first. When I tasted my sandwich, it was delicious! These Swiss slices rock! They have a wonderful Swiss flavor and are very creamy in texture when melted down. This is a processed product, so do be aware of that fact. I also tried these slices on a tuna melt sandwich. Yummy. I discovered that I can add a few slices to almost any dish that I am cooking that requires Swiss cheese flavor. These slices are also great on crackers, too. For only one dollar, these spoil me and save me lots of money. They also last quite a while in the refrigerator. I liked that!
One Sunny Acres Swiss Slice has 30 calories. 20 of those calories are from fat. One slice has just 2 grams of total fat, 0 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 0 mg's of cholesterol, yay, 180 mg's of sodium, 3 grams of total carbs, 0 grams of dietary fiber, 0 grams of sugars and 0 grams of protein. These are not the slices that you want to use if you are looking for calcium, but if you only desire good Swiss cheese flavor, these are the ones. They work well with so many dishes and sandwiches. I was really impressed by this product. It is affordable and delivers. I rate these Swiss slices five stars out of five stars. I could find nothing wrong with them. Flavor wise, they are a winner!
I loved trying Sunny Acres Swiss Slices and writing this product review about them. They are fun to eat, very good and only one dollar. I can't beat that anywhere. This product does contain milk ingredients. I will be buying these again. All that tried them at my house loved them. I totally agree.

A reuben on rye is where my swiss cheese would land. Firmly between layered corned beef, thosand island dressing and sauerkraut.
