A Review of the Super 8 Motel Located in Corydon, Indiana

My mother, granddaughter and I recently went down to Corydon, Indiana to celebrate my niece's graduation from college. While there, we stayed at the Super 8 motel located right off of the interstate in Corydon, Indiana.

We arrived at the Super 8 motel an hour before check-in time. They had been totally booked the night before and asked us if we could return at their regular check-in time of 2:00 pm. My mom, however, explained to them that we were expected at my niece's graduation party at 2:00 pm and we had no idea when we would be returning to the motel. The desk person then checked the availability of our room. Since it had been vacated, the clerk accommodated our needs by immediately having the room prepared for us. We were allowed to check-in early.

My mother had reserved a handicapped room to meet her needs. The room came complete with two double beds, a television with cable, a coffee pot with coffee packets, a hair dryer, high-speed internet connections and a radio alarm clock. The room was clean; however, the carpet was stained from past use. The beds were firm and the pillows appeared relatively new. The room is opened with a key card and has an extra bolt on the inside. The cost of the room was $58 for the night. The charge is per room not per person. The clerk informed us that we could get a roll away bed free of charge. There is only one ice machine and it is located along with a vending machine, at one end of the first floor. There is also a laundry facility located in the motel.

The Super 8 motel in Corydon, Indiana offers a free continental breakfast with your stay. It is opened from 6:00 am to 10:00 am every morning. The continental breakfast bar features two types of cold cereal, oatmeal, muffins, biscuits and gravy, bagels, coffee, juice, milk and bananas. I chose the biscuits and gravy, orange juice and coffee. The coffee was freshly brewed and tasted good. I also thought that the biscuits and gravy were good as well. The dining area around the buffet consisted of two tables that could hold up to six people and a television set. Most people choose to take their breakfast back to their rooms because of the limited space.

My mother, granddaughter and I enjoyed our stay in the Super 8 motel located in Corydon, Indiana. I would recommend it to anyone. The Super 8 motel offers a reasonably priced room, excellent customer service and a free continental breakfast.
