First off, I will start with the London, which is by far the strongest of all three colognes. With top notes of black pepper, cinnamon, port wine, tobacco leaves, and oak moss, the London has a very spicy, woodsy, smell to it. It is ideal for night time wear, and would be the perfect choice for a date or formal gathering. The bottle itself is very eye catching as well, which a swatch of Burberry fabric wrapping the outside of it. I find myself using the London the least out of the trio, since I find the scent of it to be too overwhelming for everyday use. I only break it out for special occasions, or events wear I feel as if that mellow scent just will not do the trick.
Next is the Brit, which is my personal favorite. I absolutely love this cologne, with it being one of my choices for everyday use. Cardamom, green mandarin, ginger, and nutmeg highlight his scent, which gives off a very subtle, woodsy aroma. It isn't nearly as strong as the London, but is strong enough where a little will last for hours at a time. I have gotten plenty of compliments while wearing this cologne, and I expect them to keep coming since not wearing this cologne is just not an option.
Finally is the Touch, which is the lightest cologne of the group. This cologne is very deceiving, since the ingredients of it might come across as being strong on paper, but they really aren't at all. As with the other two colognes, the Touch follows along with the woodsy aroma, but those tones are in the background of the scent, rather than being the highlight. Mandarin and violet tree leaves are the top notes, making for a very light, crisp scent that lasts for hours. The Touch can definitely be used as an everyday scent as well, but I tend to use it more as a weekend scent.
When describing all three of these colognes as a group, they all possess those woodsy qualities that set them apart from similar colognes. However, they range from being very light to very strong, which makes them the perfect trio to cover all different types of occasions. It is very difficult to find a single cologne that is appropriate for everything from dates to everyday use, so I believe having a few distinct scents is the way to go. If you agree with this concept, don't look past these three colognes made by Burberry, as I am sure you will feel the same way about them as I do.
