A Review: Tide TotalCare Laundry Detergent

7 Signs of Beautiful Clothes

Katie
Tide is my favorite laundry detergent; I continuously find myself coming back to if I try another brand, and it has been the detergent I've used throughout most of my married life. When they introduce a new formula, I'm always eager to try it, and I am always pleased with the results, however, I generally return to the basic Tide HE.

Recently, the Tide Company launched its TotalCare line, which boasts 7 Signs of Beautiful Clothes. Eager to see the results for myself, I bought my first bottle about three weeks ago.

First, TotalCare promises to meticulously clean your clothes. Tide overall accomplishes this feat, I feel, and I honestly didn't see any difference in the overall cleanliness of our clothes. Having two young boys, cleanliness is important to me, and I was as pleased with the results of Tide TotalCare laundry detergent as I am with my regular Tide HE.

Next, you should notice that the color of your clothing stays bright and vibrant, meaning that it doesn't get dingy from multiple washings. I found this to be very true with Tide TotalCare; the color of our clothing has never been better.

Another reason to use Tide TotalCare is that it helps the shape of your clothes to stay in tact. I have found that folding and hanging is easier because our clothes don't bunch or wrinkle during drying. This is the most marked change I've noticed in our clothing.

Tide TotalCare promises to maintain the finish of your clothing and I also find this to be a promise they've come through on. A lot of my boys' clothes have graphics and they have honestly stayed in fabulous shape.

Another guarantee from the Tide Company concerning TotalCare is that it enhances the softness of your clothes, and again, they've come through fabulously. I use both liquid fabric softener as well as dryer sheets, so our clothes were soft previously, but I have noticed an increase in softness overall, which is great for towels and pajamas.

TotalCare will also prevent your clothing from pilling, which is something I love because pilling can make a fabulous piece of clothing look awful. Again, I've noticed significant improvement in this area as well.

Lastly, TotalCare promises to fight stains. Again, I find Tide to be a great stain fighter normally, so I was pleased with the treatment of stains when using TotalCare. We also use Oxiclean, a scoop per load, and I don't have issues with stains at all.

I am pleased with the scent, it is a bit strong but I don't actually mind it. Overall, I think this is a great laundry detergent and it's worth the few extra dollars because it really does do an amazing job and maintaining the beauty of clothing.
