A Review of Tombstone Garlic Bread Supreme Pizza

Much Garlic

Bridgitte Williams

I am a fan of many Tombstone brand frozen pizzas. Recently, I came across a Tombstone Garlic Bread Supreme Pizza in the frozen pizzas section of my local grocery store. This pizza looked quite promising. I decided to purchase it, try it out and write a product review about it. Here are my findings about this product.

The price of Tombstone Garlic Bread Supreme Pizza was very affordable and this pizza was on sale. I bought it for only three dollars. This pizza has six servings in it. That was a very food budget friendly deal, in my opinion. With ingredients like pepperoni, sausage, green and red peppers, onions, black olives, garlic, mozzarella cheese, tomato paste and paprika, among other spices, this combination seemed like a winner! I love all of those pizza toppings. This pizza has one hundred percent real cheese and that is always good!

I preheated my oven to 400 degrees, placed the pizza on a cookie sheet, cooked for nineteen minutes, until the cheese was all melted and the crust was golden brown. I sliced and served. When I tasted this pizza, I liked it. The crust is something special. Very thick and garlicky. Rich garlic flavor is present and makes this pizza unique. I had never had a garlic bread type crust pizza before and this one is quite memorable. You must love garlic bread to appreciate this pizza. The toppings on this pizza are great. This is a very fun frozen pizza to try. It surprised me. Really different, I must admit. I rate Tombstone Garlic Bread Supreme Pizza three and one half stars out of five stars. The garlic bread fans that tried this pizza, at my house, liked it. I agree.

One serving of this pizza has 360 calories. 140 of those calories are from fat. One serving has 15 grams of total fat, 5 grams of saturated fat, 0.5 grams of trans fat, 25 mg's of cholesterol, 610 mg's of sodium, 3 grams of dietary fiber, 41 grams of total carbs, 14 grams of protein and 5 grams of sugars. This pizza has nice amounts of calcium and iron in it. This product does contain soy, wheat and milk ingredients, important information for food allergy sufferers.

I must admit that this pizza is quite unique and surprising, in comparison to the many frozen pizzas that I have reviewed during my five year career doing food product reviews. Garlic lovers will indeed love this one. While it is not my favorite Tombstone frozen pizza, it is worth trying. I enjoyed writing about this one.
