A Review of White Castle Microwaveable Cheeseburgers

The Original Slider

Bridgitte Williams

I am a cheeseburger fan and when I spotted a box of White Castle Microwaveable Cheeseburgers in the frozen meats section of my local favorite grocery store, I was thrilled. These looked very good! I decided to purchase them, try them out and write a product review about my experience with them. Here is what I discovered!

I bought one box of White Castle Microwaveable Cheeseburgers for three dollars and a bit over. Each box has sic cheeseburgers in it. Not a bad deal. These are the mini cheeseburgers, similar to the ones that you get at a Krystal's fast food restaurant. At least, they look very much like those. They have one hundred percent beef, American cheese and onions on them. The picture of these, on the outside of the box, looked very good, I must admit. I could not wait to taste them.

I discovered that these are perfect for microwave cooking and that is how I chose to prepare them. There are two cheeseburgers in each sleeve. I vented the plastic sleeve, separated the burgers, cooked on high for one minute and served. These smelled great and looked good! When I tasted this mini cheeseburger, I liked it. The bun is like a roll, soft and fresh baked tasting. The beef patty is thin, tender and flavorful. The onions add a good flavor to this slider. It is yummy! While Krystal burgers do have an edge on these, you can't beat these for the taste, affordability and ease of preparation. And you do not have to leave the house for these. They make a great late night snack, in my opinion. These are a lot of fun to eat. I like to add ketchup, mustard and pickles to these. Then, they are perfect.

I rate White Castle Microwaveable Cheeseburgers four stars out of five stars. I like the fact that they have cheese on them. Two of these have 310 calories. 150 of those calories come from fat. They have 17 grams of total fat, 8 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 40 mg's of cholesterol, 600 mg's of sodium, 26 grams of total carbs, 1 gram of dietary fiber, 3 grams of sugars, 14 grams of protein. These have nice amounts of calcium and iron in them. This product does have soy, wheat and milk ingredients in it.

I loved trying White Castle Microwaveable Cheeseburgers and writing this product review about them. They are easy to fix, tasty and cheap. I like to keep this product on hand for late night cheeseburger craving. This one is a winner and made in the spirit of many folk's favorite fast food burger. A creative home bound burger slider. Not bad!
