A Review of Yoplait Delights Lemon Torte Yogurt Parfait

Bridgitte Williams

The Yoplait brand seems to keep coming up with interesting and new yogurt desserts all of the time. When I spotted a four pack of Yoplait Delights Lemon Torte Yogurt Parfaits in the refrigerated yogurt section of my local grocery store, I was tempted. I decided to buy these, try them out and write a product review about my findings. Here is my opinion of this treat!

Yoplait Delights Lemon Torte Yogurt Parfait is low cal and I can always use the help with my daily diet. Sweetened with Sucralose and another sweetener, this parfait has my dieting friends talking. This yogurt dessert is also gluten free and that is wonderful! It has lemon low fat yogurt topped with vanilla low fat yogurt. The appearance of this parfait reminds me of a lemon meringue pie. I could not wait to taste it and see if it was as good as it looked! I discovered that it was almost as good as it looked. This treat is sweet, tangy and zesty. As a lemon lover, I enjoyed the fun flavors. While I do not often buy artificially sweetened desserts, this one is pretty darn good. Dieters love creamy and rich treats and this one is a winner. Satisfying and creative. I felt as if I was indulging and the low fat part was not very noticeable. I rate Yoplait Delights Lemon Torte Yogurt Parfait four stars out of five stars. This product is a favorite of one of my relatives. We both love lemon and we both agree that this low cal dessert pleases us.

One of these parfaits has 100 calories. Only 10 of those calories are from fat. This yogurt parfait has 1.5 grams of total fat, 1 gram of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 5 mg's of cholesterol, 70 mg's of sodium, 180 mg's of potassium, 17 grams of total carbs, 4 grams of protein and 12 grams of sugars. This dessert is rich in vitamin D, calcium, vitamin A and phosphorus. Live and active yogurt cultures are present. Trying this parfait and writing a review about it was fun. This product is a friend to those watching calories and to those who like low fat and gluten free desserts. The cost is around three dollars and bit more. Yoplait Delights come in many fun flavors like chocolate eclair, cherry cheesecake and caramel, just to name a few.
