A Rouges Gallery of the Most Common Aliens Spotted on Earth

In modern times, various entities have been sighted by people all over the world. The purpose of this article is to categorize some of these sightings. Since we are focusing on modern times, we will not be looking at the many biblical or mythological entities that have been reported over the centuries. So here they are, in no particular order:

Greys: These are the main extraterrestrials sighted in North America. They range from very short to very tall, tend to be thin, and have large heads. Greys have large, solid black, wraparound eyes that are almond shaped or slanted. Their skin color ranges from greenish-blue to grey to pink. Other skin colors, such as black or glowing white, are rare. Greys have no hair. They tend to wear skin tight body suits, sometimes with a belt, boots, or gloves. Other times they wear nothing. Witnesses have reported strange or terrible smells associated with these entities.

Greys are thought to be aliens (possibly from Zeta Reticuli), inter-dimensional beings or time-traveling future-men. They are usually encountered while abducting humans for medical and genetic experiments. They also have been sighted at super-top secret military bases, where they have their own areas put aside for them. They might be the ones responsible for cattle mutilations and crop circles. UFOs are often associated with the Greys both on earth and by astronauts in space or on the moon. One theory regarding their presence here is that they are clones with no functional reproductive system (or they forgot how to feel emotions), thus they need to study us since their race is stagnating.

The most famous Grey sighting involved the abduction of Betty and Barney Hill in the 1960's, although an earlier abduction was reported by a farmer in South America when he was tilling his field at night. This farmer's report suggests that he may have encountered Greys. Greys paralyze their abductees and can phase through walls, so it is almost impossible to prevent an encounter with these entities, should they wish it. Greys also cause amnesia in witnesses of their visit. Currently, hypnosis is the common method for recalling an encounter. Given the unknown reliability of hypnosis, it is very hard to receive accurate accounts of their visits.

Recently, sightings of these creatures seem to be on the decline. Greys are also known as Abductors, Visitors, UFO Occupants, Talls or E.B.E.s

Blondes: These aliens look like beautiful humans. They usually have blonde hair, but dark hair is not unheard of. They are slightly taller than average with tan to olive skin. Some Blondes have been seen with strange, hypnotic eyes. These aliens have claimed to be from the other planets in our solar system. They are non-violent, and claim that if we can stop our violent ways, they will let us join their cosmic brotherhood. The blond has a strange voice naturally, but they can learn to speak like us with time.

Blondes travel in UFOs to visit earth. When they are just stopping by, they wear astronaut like space-suits. When visiting for extended durations, they dress and speak like us. They can also communicate with us telepathically, and do so when communicating at long distances. Sometimes they choose a human to be their spokesman here of earth, letting him photograph there star-craft and giving him messages for the rest of us. Sightings of Blondes have declined in recent decades, and they seem to have disappeared when the Greys showed up. Only one account featuring both Greys and Blondes comes to mind, that being the story of Travis Walton. The Travis Walton story is unique in this, and other respects.

There have been books written about these entities, usually by human their ambassadors. Followers of this phenomenon comprise the contactee movement. Currently, the contactee movement has been derided by the ufologist in favor of a Grey-centric explanation. They are also known as the Contactees, Martians, Venusians, Plutonians, etc.

Men In Black: The Men in Black, or MIBs, have been around long before the movie with the same name came out. Common appearance consists of a man of very pale or olive complexion in a black business suit with tie and hat. They have also been seen as short men with Asiatic features in white jumpsuits with belts and high soled shoes working on telephone poles. Sunglasses are not uncommon and dark, slanted eyes are the norm. Their hairstyles are usually conservative.

MIBs are encountered solitarily or in threes. They sometimes talk in a 1920's style gangster accent or have mechanical sounding voices. One account consisted of a man in a white trench-coat with long wild hair, sunglasses, and square pupils. Whether that particular report involved an actual MIB is debatable.

Encounters with MIB are often strange and bizarre. The purposes of their visits seem to be the intimidation of UFO witnesses and confiscation of evidence, thus preventing UFO stories from spreading. They also are sent on reconnaissance missions and seem to have an interest in our phone system. Sometimes the MIB acts mechanical and robotic. They become confused and perplexed by our everyday items and utensils. Theories as to what MIB are range from man-droids created by Greys, to government agents engaged in disinformation. Although they have been known to use threats to try to silence witnesses, no reports of a MIB physically attacking someone come to mind. The MIB often claim to be government agents when they approach a witness, such as NASA or the Air Force. Sometimes they claim to be fellow UFO researchers.

Mothman: Mothman was sighted in the Ohio River valley area in the late 1960's. This creature is larger than a man, has large, bat-like wings, no discernable head and large, and glowing red, hypnotic eyes. Mothman may have claws. The entity can fly, and although it seems that it can do so without moving its wings, there are reports of the sound of flapping wings during encounters. This is just one of the enigmas of this creature.

Mothman was encountered in conjunction with UFO sightings and MIBs. There are reports of the Mothman morphing into a UFO, so its physical composure is unknown. Ufologist John Keel speculated that the Mothman was an inter-dimensional being, perhaps a manifestation of cosmic energy where leylines meet

Mothman is usually spotted up close when the witness is in a car. Intense fear is associated with close encounters. Witnesses sometimes receive minor radiation burns on the skin and around the eyes. The entity also inhabited an abandoned ammunitions dump at one time. Mothman seems to be impossible to photograph as cameras will not work in his vicinity.

Strange phone calls from weird people usually occur when Mothman has been sighted. Its appearance is said to preclude tragic events. He may be related to the Jersey Devil and Popobawa. No known aliases.

Reptilians: The Reptilians seem to be a racial offshoot of the Greys. They are usually tall and thin, looking like Greys but with darker, scaly skin and eyes with slitted pupils. They are encountered with or without clothes. These aliens are often encountered with the Greys, and seem to be the ones giving the orders.

Whereas Greys are said to have no or muted emotions, reports of reptilians consist of them being callous towards others, or at the very least cold in their demeanor. Ufologists theorize that the Reptilians have hostile motives towards earthlings. Sometimes they are referred to as Talls, as they share some characteristics with that sub-section of the Greys.

It should be remembered that Betty Hill's earliest recollection of her abductors had them with 'catlike' eyes, having slitted pupils. She also said they dressed in Nazi-like fashion. Perhaps there are Grey-Reptilian hybrid races.

Chupacabra: The Goat Sucker, also known jokingly as 'The Mexican Bigfoot'. This creature is found in Central and South America. Its presence is associated with animal mutilation in those areas. It is short, thin, and has a bumpy head with red, glowing eyes. It also has fangs and claws. It is often spotted by farmers. Unlike most of the other entries on this list, Chupacabra sightings have been increasing recently.

Popobawa: The Swahili Bat-Man. Found in eastern Africa, Popobawa looks like a short, winged creature. Its behavior is to land on a persons hut, paralyze the victim psychically, and then violate him sexually. Villagers resort to sleeping outside in groups to avoid him.
