Don't upgrade because of a fashion statement. Don't upgrade because you don't want to be left behind. Upgrade because it's time to get more from your phone than just the ability to talk to friends and family conveniently from anywhere. Even if you are stil storing your cell phone strictly in the glove box for emergency purposes, the Motorola Razor will not only surpass your needs but it will make you fall in love with owning a cell phone. You may even turn into one of those annoying people who can't stay off the darn thing!
For women, the Motorola Razor design is so popular because it's shape and size is a very stylish, attractive acessory. This addition to your ear will say so much about you. For men, the Motorola Razor design is wonderful because it has large flat buttons that are easy to read. That way you shouldn't have a hard time calling home when you've been out drinking!
All saracasm aside, the Motorola Razor really is a great phone, and this is coming from somebody who almost despises the obsession with cell phones. It can be used as an MP3 player, and one of the neatest things is that if you spend a little extra for a special Motorola USB data cable, you can transfer any pictures you take between your computer and your phone, as well as create your own ring tones using music on your computer. This is great, because you don't have to constantly pay to download new ring tones!
Having a camera on your phone is so yesterday... so the Motorola Razor has stepped it up and you have a camera and a video camera (that can record up to 22 seconds.)
Yes, cell phones are constantly changing and improving and I completely agree with anyone who thinks the whole idea of upgrading cell phones is downright materialistic and wasteful. To be perfectly honest, I have been fine for a year here and a year there without owning a cell phone at all. However, I decided to get a cell phone again... and I chose the Motorola Razor... and I am more than happy with this phone. So even if this phone does go out of style... I will still be using it.
If you own a laptop, you may be as interested as I was (it was the selling point when I learned this feature) that you can use this phone as a modem on your lap top using just a regular USB cable. Anytime, anywhere. I will honestly say that the internet speed isn't as fast as broadband, which we are all quite used to I'm sure. The dial up speed may be a set back, but the ability is still very convenient.
In summary, the Motorola Razor has some very sharp features. Don't just take my word on it though! Check it out for yourself... you just may fall in love!
