A Short Note from Pattie
An Apology for Not Rambling This Monday
And for my new teammates on "Die by the Pen", I will just say I hope this name is not literal, and I will attempt in the future to propel us onward and upward. When I first saw the name, I was worried that maybe there was some of that stab-yourself-in-the-stomach philosophy attached to it, but I've been assured that's not the case. Apparently, when I changed categories, I was moved from one team to the other. At first, I thought "Writer's Block" thought I was taking that name too literally and kicked me out, but have since learned better.
Once again, thank you for your patience and understanding. You are a very special group of people. Also, I might remind you to remember the people of Southern Mississippi who lost family and friends in the weekend tornadoes. It was a pretty hard blow to several areas in Mississippi.
As always, I hope you all have a special week and thanks for reading.

Hey, wondered where you were and was just surfing the site to see if you had been hit by the tornados. Hope everything evens out, going thru my own family crises right now as well and am WAY behind in my reading and commenting. BTW, you took MY place in Die by the Pen, hope you're carrying the standard soon!

I am sick and hardly working as well, I have been sick for two weeks so I have not been up to par with my writing either. Wish you the best of luck and success in what you have to get through this week.
