A Single Lady's Guide to Valentine's Day

We all go through a Valentine's Day where we feel like we are all alone and we can't do anything about it. But behold, you are about to read "The Single Lady's Guide to Valentine's Day." This article contains things you can do to ward off those cupid blues. Because there is nothing wrong with being single!

Have a girl's night in!

One of the hardest things about going out on Valentine's Day is the fact you have to see all those couples be all mushy together in public. Well there is a solution! Have a girl's night in! Get your favorite movies together, have every girl bring their favorite type of chocolate and have a fun night with your girls.

Go Shopping!

Now this might sound like a bad idea with the economy the way it is. But you can buy yourself something without paying a ton! Stores such as Victoria Secret and American Eagle are still having great sales! So go buy a $14.99 bra or a new really cute shirt you could wear next Valentine's Day. But remember; don't go to overboard to you don't have to return it the next day.

Go Work-out!

Well I'm sure that you think you are single for a variety of reasons. One might be that you just don't feel good about yourself. Well, here is your solution! Get a membership to a 24/7 gym, most of them have classes you can take to make yourself feel thin and sexy! Most fitness centers have a tanning bed as well, so work on that tan and get ready for swimsuit season.

Read A Book!

Don't you just wish you could spend Valentine's Day with Edward Cullen? Well you can! Just pick up a book and take yourself far away from anything and everything. You don't necessarily have to read the steamy romance novels either. Try reading something you wouldn't normally pick up. Sci-fi novels can be just as dramatic as the newest Gossip Girl novel.

Be Yourself!

I know it's hard not to question why you are single at this god-forsaken time of the year. But always remember that you need to be yourself, no matter what. Embrace singleness and all its glory. One day you might wish you could be single one more time. Remember that your special man will come in time, and that you will be just fine if he doesn't.
