As a writer, one of my earliest phobias was misspelled words or ill placed punctuation. Yet, four years ago when I had to learn the computer/ internet, I was in total shock at the volume of typos, as well as the people willing to look over them. Publishers, school teachers, and all.
So. Over the last few years, I've developed a signature in my own text, which I've not used in this article, but, if permitted by Associated Content, will be used in future articles. It was about a year ago now that I began leaving out apostrophes, and I've grown so used to it, it is difficult for me to make it through this article without having to back space again and again.
My intimate relationship with words began through poetry when I was eleven, and throughout my life, I've somehow managed, intermittently, to sit down with my thoughts and elevate them on paper as if they were the only air I breathed. And speaking from a poets heart, I admit every fiber of silent text I pursue appeals to the vanity of such a poet and their relationship with beauty in all things, textual or otherwise.
Being a Libra only adds to the desire of having all who read my heart felt thoughts and observations feel intimately aroused by their poetic relationships vanity will not allow me to abandon in any of my creations; so my greatest hope is for greater exposure here in this online publishing community that allows myself, as well as millions suffocating in their small towns, a chance to be heard.
Contrarily, the spectrum of my work is so broad, so diverse, that I have feared being able to fit into any one genre. While my main focal point in Life is balance, and because I am known to have an objective point of view, I hope to execute my perspectives with humble truths that can inspire, entertain, and maybe even give you a few eureka moments to boot.
While I do not like harsh debates, I do love to make points and leave them open for others to share their perspectives. I practice approaching life from an experimental disposition to help ensure I do not take so many typical life set backs as the Universes personal vendetta against me, and I love using humor in most of my work. As it is said 'laughter is the best medicine', and it's doctor office free; who can beat that-.
Lastly, a lot of my articles end with a poem or verse, which I hope to reintroduce to the literary arena as a compliment to a work with the ability to impact the reader just as music impacts movies.
Once again, thank you Associated Content!
