To celebrate with me
But deep within your heart
I know that's where I'll be
Your gone to fight a war
That many do disagree
You stand up for what you believe
In defense of liberty
The values that you taught me
You show me every day
You teach me many, many things
Even though you're far away
I use to wonder why you left
Why we couldn't play
Now I understand it all
Why you went away
You heard a soldiers calling
Your my hero in every way
If not for daddies just like you
There would be no father's day
