A Song I Wrote when I was Eight

Jesus I Love You

Crystal Sciarini
When I was eight my Mom bought me a typewriter at a rummage. I sat down to type and realized I had nothing to copy, so instead I wrote a song. I still have the original paper somewhere among my junk.

Jesus I love you
but I don't understand
Why you died for me
and saved my soul
from the one who didn't care for me
when I was lost you found me
and died for me
on a rugged cross is where you first saved me.

I don't know how to write music, but I still remember the melody that I made up. Maybe someday I get bold and record it and upload it for you.

This is lovely, and how in tune you were at 8 years of age to the truth of the Lord! I hope my children will have this much understanding at that age. You just may have a natural gift for music as well as writing.
